Michelle Barton King

Associate, Taylor Espino Vega & Touron, PLLC

Michelle Barton King was born in Manhattan, New York and lived in New York until the age of 12, when she moved to Miami, Florida with her family. After graduating from Miami Palmetto Senior High School, she attended and graduated from University of Miami with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology (minor in Sociology) in 1992. After graduating from University of Miami, Ms. Barton King worked as a Guardian Supervisor with the 11th Judicial Circuit Guardian Ad Litem Program until she began studying law at Nova Southeastern University Law School.

After graduating with a Juris Doctorate from Nova Southeastern University Law School in 1998, Ms. Barton King practiced law at a boutique family law firm in Coconut Grove, Florida. Thereafter, she became an associate at a mid-size firm in Hollywood, Florida where she practiced insurance defense, with a focus on automobile accidents. In 2004, Ms. Barton King became an associate in one of the country’s largest minority owned law firms, in Coral Gables, Florida, where she continued to practice insurance defense and expanded her legal focus to premises liability, product liability, high value automobile accidents, toxic tort, wrongful death, negligent security and property damage (residential/commercial) cases.

Ms. Barton King is an Associate with Taylor Espino Vega Touron, which specializes in all aspects of the construction industry and the broad range of business and legal issues facing our clients. The firm represents public and private clients throughout the southern United States and internationally. Her areas of practice include First Party Insurance Litigation, Third Party Insurance Litigation, Civil Litigation, and Construction Litigation in state and federal courts.

Ms. Barton King is authorized to practice law in the State of Florida and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida (Federal Court).
