Loan Program Manager
Joann Milord is Miami Bayside Foundation’s Loan Program Manager for the Black Business Loan Program (BBLP). The BBLP is funded by the State of Florida’s Department of Economic Opportunity. She has extensive experience in non-profit management specializing in economic development.
Joann previously served in multiple positions promoting economic and small business development in Miami including Executive Director of the Haitian American Chamber of Commerce of Florida, Executive Director of Northeast Second Avenue Partnership (NE2P) in Little Haiti, and Senior Business Development & Loan Officer at Accion USA. While at Accion USA, Joann targeted Haitian micro enterprises, by providing micro loan products and technical assistance to business owners who would have been unable to obtain loans from traditional banks and managed $3 million loan portfolio.
Joann has a Bachelor’s degree from University of Miami in Criminology, Political Science, and English and a Master’s of Science in Criminal Justice from Florida International University.
