Miami, FL (September 11, 2018) – Members of the Miami Bayside Foundation(MBF) gathered for a luncheon at Florida Memorial University to meet the awardees of a recent MBF scholarship.  The scholarship serves to support the academic pursuits of 5 Florida Memorial University students displaced by Hurricane Irma. The students included Jesennia Bonilla Liriano a sophomore, biology major who plays for FMU’s Volleyball team and Pablo Delgado Rodriguez a Communications and Public Relations major who plays for the University’s baseball team. Also, in attendance were MBF’s Chairman Nathan Kurland and FMU’s Interim President, Dr. Jaffus Hardrick.  The resources will help to close the financial gap and meet the student’s tuition needs for the semester.
