Miami, FL (May 25, 2018) – The Miami Bayside Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting economic development in the City of Miami, awarded 42 students with $1,000 scholarships at Miami City Hall. This scholarship is for graduating high school seniors that are residents of the City of Miami and are planning to attend an accredited college, university or technical college. Certificates, presented by Mayor Suarez, were awarded to students who demonstrated a dedication to scholarship and participation and excellence in school and community activities.
“We are honored to be able to support the academic pursuits of these exceptional students. They represent the future of the City of Miami,” said Kathleen Murphy, executive director of the Miami Bayside Foundation.
