Nicole Ewan

Secretary

Nicole Ewan is the Assistant City Clerk for the City of Miami, where she is responsible for assisting the City Clerk in administrating and coordinating the appropriate safekeeping of all legislation adopted for the City of Miami and Community Redevelopment Agencies. Ms. Ewan serves as the administrator for all of the City’s boards and committees. She assists in the compliance of all charges made to the City Clerk by City Charter, City Code, County Code and State Statutes. Prior to serving as the Assistant City Clerk, Ms. Ewan was the Records Coordinator for the City of Miami, where she was responsible for ensuring and reporting on the City’s compliance with State of Florida Public Records Law and City Code. Ms. Ewan has over sixteen (16) years of governmental experience, most of which has been gained from the City of Miami, Office of the City Clerk.

Ms. Ewan earned a master’s degree in Public Administration from Nova Southeastern University, where she served as a member of Pi Alpha Alpha Honor Society for Public Administration. She received a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Florida A&M University. She currently holds her Certified Municipal Clerk designation and is certified in Public Records Management by the State of Florida.
