Athan “Buster” Castiglia

President and CEO of Miami Federal Credit Union

Buster has led executive management teams of banks for the past 25 years and is currently the President and CEO of Miami Federal Credit Union. He is a leader in the banking industry that specializes in defining business strategy to yield high-impact actions, operations, and financial results.  He excels in identifying and capturing new business and new market opportunities, and serves as an executive liaison to regulators, financers, attorneys, auditors & client base. 

He has served on the boards of Neighborhood Lending Partners of South Florida, Florida Banker’s Association, and the South Florida Partnership Office of Fannie Mae. 

His degrees include a Master’s of Science in Administration, a Master’s of Science in Secondary Education, as well as Graduate Diplomas in Banking from Stonier Graduate School of Banking at Rutgers University, and the Commercial Lending Graduate School at the University of Oklahoma.
